Romans 3:5-8
"But if our unrighteousness brings out God's righteousness more clearly, what shall we say? That God is unjust in bringing his wrath on us? (I am using a human argument.) Certainly not! If that were so, how could God judge the world? Someone might argue, 'If my falsehood enhances God's truthfulness and so increases his glory, why am I still condemned as a sinner?' Why not say-as we are being slanderously reported as saying and as some claim that we say-'Let us do evil that good may result'? Their condemnation is deserved."
We need to be responsible for our own behavior. Many like to indulge in their own lust, but don't want to be responsible for their own behavior. Some always have many excuses, they ask questions like: "If God really loves us, what did He put the two trees in Garden of Eden to tempt us? If there's no tree of good and evil, won't we ever sin?" Actually, many don't understand that free will in the best gift that God has given to human beings. We all enjoy freedom and don't want to be forced to do anything. We thank God because He never forces us to follow Him, but He simply lays the outcomes of all the alternatives before us. All choices carry responsibility, and all choices will lead to outcomes. A drug addict chooses to take drugs and he will ultimately face tragic death. He can't blame others for producing drugs, because what really killed him was not the drugs, but the choice he made.
All choices you make in your life will affect your life. If you choose the way of sin, you will experience the outcome of sin. If you choose the way of God, you will experience the grace of God. You don't need to blame God for his judgment for righteousness, and you shouldn't slander God with "we would be doing a good thing if our unrighteousness brings out the righteousness of God." Some have asked: "Didn't Judas do a good thing by selling out Jesus and led Him to the cross." The death of Jesus, however, didn't have to take place through Judas; Judas sold out the Lord, so he had to be responsible for selling the Lord out. Today, we also need to once again face our life. Many blame God for never blessing them, but they fail to consider that they never paid any price to follow God; many blame others for not loving them, but they fail to consider that their personalities need to be dealt with. We need to be determined to rise up in our daily life and stop complaining about others, and learn to be responsible for ourselves by the grace of the Lord.
