Romans 5:6-11

"
You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God's wrath through him! For if, while we were God's enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life! Not only is this so, but we also boast in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation."

Do you know that God loves you? Sometimes when you face this broken world with all the hatred, fighting, hurt and suffering in it, it is hard for you to feel God's love. You might think that God doesn't love you at all, otherwise why does He allow such things to happen to you? In fact, the Lord has already loved you in the most essential way. Why this world is broken is not only because of the change and transition of the circumstances. The ultimate reason lies in the fact that there is an evil self-centeredness inside us. This self-centeredness cuts off our relationship with God so we can never get satisfied. It also cuts off our relationship with others so we can never get peace and joy. We can't get healed from the brokenness, unless we are set free from the bondage of the sins.

God's love is the one to meet the most essential need of our life. Only when we receive God's sacrificing love first, will his grace continue to come down to us. God's love is not only limited to this. He also promises us a joyful life, for God himself will become our joy. John 15:5 says: "I am the vine, you are the branches". It means that we can start to receive all the necessary wisdom, strength and grace from God. When we persevere due to lacking, we can proclaim that the Lord is our perseverance. When we are lack of wisdom, we can come to the Lord for help. The Lord is the vine, our supplier and our savior.

2 Cor. 1:10 says: "He who rescued us from so deadly a peril will continue to rescue us". He not only rescues us, Psalms 42:5 also says: "my help". God loves both you and me. His love is far beyond our imagination. Brothers and sisters, just commit your life to God, for you know He already loved you, and He will continue to become the joy in your everyday life.

Dear Lord, may you show us your love, which may become our joy every day. We thank you and we pray in the victorious name of Jesus, amen!
