Luke 24:30-35
When he was at the table with them, he took bread, gave thanks, broke it and began to give it to them.  Then their eyes were opened and they recognized him, and he disappeared from their sight.  They asked each other, 'Were not our hearts burning within us while he talked with us on the road and opened the Scriptures to us?'  They got up and returned at once to Jerusalem. There they found the Eleven and those with them, assembled together and saying, 'It is true! The Lord has risen and has appeared to Simon.'  Then the two told what had happened on the way, and how Jesus was recognized by them when he broke the bread.
The Lord is always with us, not just the past and the future, but also the present.  Sometime I hear Christians pray for the presence of the Lord, but we actually don't need to pray for it!  Just believe it, and the Lord will be with you!  His presence is an eternal presence, not a temporary one, and it will never be taken away.  What you and I need to day is to ask Holy Spirit to Open our slow mind so that we would recognize His presence, salvation and healing right now.  The Lord is with us right now; when you are working over-time, when you are doing house chores and taking care of your kids, when you are facing uncertainties of the future and feeling anxious, the Lord is with you and walking with you; talk to Him and believe that the Lord can become the strength and guidance in your life.
Don't ever think that the Lord cannot hear you because He has already heard it; don't ever think that God has done nothing, because He has already started working.  God has given us wisdom and prepared the way for us.  His work in our life gives us clearer vision to see all His wonderful work.  Just like these two disciples, when their eyes were opened and they recognize the Lord's presence, their hearts will be on fire just thinking about the experience.  Even before their eyes were opened, the Lord has already started His wonderful work.  In the same way, God's Spirit is already working on you, for He will heal you, guide you and correct you.  May the Spirit of the Lord open our eyes to see that He is present with us; open our ears so that we can hear His voice; open our heart so that we can understand His work.

Lord, please open our heart, and open our eyes, so that we know the reality of your presences.  No matter what our circumstance is now and how anxious we are, when we turn our eyes on you, you will become our strength, healing, help and salvation.  I thank you and I pray in the victorious name of Jesus, amen!
